My mom sent us a Flip video of a recent dusting Colorado received this week.
It looks like powdered sugar has been gently sifted over her front yard. (Thanks for sending that mom!)
It reminded me that despite the unseasonably warm weather we have been enjoying (savoring, relishing, cherishing) here in New Hampshire, winter is indeed around the corner.
But there is beauty in winter here...
at least I keep telling myself this not unlike the cowardly lion from the Wizard of Oz

But the shot above isn't too bad, ay? I took it last winter from the entry to our 2 acre wooded lot.

This ice looks cold - it seems to me
